No washer fluid spray is one of four things: empty tank (more common than you think), a clogged nozzle, a failed pump, or a frozen line in winter. All are easy to test in 5 minutes. Here is the ranked list.

Wax, dirt, or hard water minerals plug the tiny holes in the nozzle. You hear the pump running but no fluid sprays. Clean the nozzles with a sewing pin or replace them for $10. Cost: $0 - $20. DIY: Easy. Severity: Low.

Open the hood. The washer tank is white plastic with a blue cap or a windshield icon. Top it off with washer fluid (NOT water - water freezes and grows algae).
Find the spray nozzles on the hood or just under the windshield base. Use a sewing pin or fine wire to clear each hole. Pull the washer stalk to test.
With someone pressing the washer stalk, put your ear near the hood. A whirring or buzzing from the front of the engine bay = pump is running. Silence = pump dead, fuse blown, or switch broken.
Drain the reservoir if needed. The pump is a small motor pressed into a rubber grommet on the side of the tank. Pull the harness, twist the pump out, push the new one in. Refill, test. Takes 15 minutes.

Either the tank is empty or the nozzles are clogged. Open the hood to check the tank first, then clear the nozzles with a sewing pin.
Only in summer in temperate climates. Water freezes in winter and grows algae year-round. Real washer fluid is $3 a gallon - just use it.
$60 - $150 installed. Pump is usually $20 - $40; labor is 15-30 minutes.
Some cars have two pumps (front and rear) - if the front pump is dead, only the rear nozzle works. Listen for which one runs.
Sewing pin or fine wire pushed into each hole. For stubborn clogs, pull the nozzle off, blow compressed air through it backwards, and reinstall.
No - never use household window cleaner in the reservoir. It foams and damages the pump. Use only fluid labeled "washer fluid" or "windshield wash."
