📝 Step-by-Step: BMW 3 Series Oil Change

1. Confirm your engine variantOpen the hood and check the engine cover or VIN sticker. Capacities differ between trims (5.3 qt (B46/B48 2.0L turbo - 330i) / 6.9 qt (B58 3.0L turbo - M340i) / 7.4 qt (S55/S58 - M3)). Buy the right amount of oil and the matching filter.
2. Warm the engine 5-10 minutesWarm oil drains faster and more completely. Do not run to full operating temperature - the drain plug will burn you.
